Why are "master spreads" visible in MDE and Job Editor?

Created on 02nd October 2015 at 10:15 by Jamie O'Connell

InDesign Master Spreads

Each document in one2edit™ is an InDesign document. Every InDesign document contains at least one 'master spread'. Therefore, because they are a part of the document, they will be accessible.

Furthermore, it is possible to place content from a master spread into a content group for editing in one2edit™, so these master spreads must be accessible.

There is no option to only partially display an InDesign document in one2edit™.

NOTE:
If not content is editable on a master spread, these spreads are not displayed in the thumbnails when working on a job. However, they are accessible via the spread navigation menu.

NOTE:
It is possible to use the JSI to customize the one2edit™ view in a web-portal.
