How do I create a Workflow Template via the Workflows Area?

Created on 14th September 2026 at 11:37 by Olaf Walther

If you reuse the same workflow frequently, you should create a Workflow Template.

A workflow template can be created directly in the Workflows area.

Create a New Workflow

In the Workflows area:

  1. Select a folder in which to create your new workflow template.
  2. Click the + button to open the New Workflow dialog.
  3. Name your new workflow and define the Job Handling. You can also enter a description for this workflow.
  4. Click Save.

Open the Workflow for Editing

You will now need to set up the Content Group in this workflow.

Double-click the new workflow to open it, or choose Open from its option menu.

Name and populate Workflow Track(s)

  1. Rename the workflow track to match the name of the Content Group in your source-language document. To do this, double-click on New Content Group, which is the default name.
  2. Populate the workflow track with a target language, users, and automated actions.
  3. If you have more than one Content Group defined in your document, you can add more groups via the kebab menu at the top.

NOTE: Please remember that the name of the workflow track is case sensitive. It must be a 100% match to the name of the Content Group in your source-language document.

Close the Workflow

All changes made to this workflow are saved automatically as you are making them, so there is no need to explicitly save them.

When you are finished, simply click the X at the top to close the Workflow-Editor view.
