Created on 10th June 2026 at 13:13 by Jamie O'Connell

You can use the  Adobe® InDesign® Book functionality in one2edit™ to combine multiple documents into a single PDF.

Create a New Book

Open the New Book dialog by clicking New Book in a folder's Action Menu.

Fill in the details for your new book, and click Save.

Your new book is now in the selected folder.

Next, you will need to add InDesign® documents to this book.

Add Documents to Book

  1. Double-click the book to open its Book Details dialog.
  2. Click the Projects tab.
  1. Drag-and-drop your documents into the Projects area of the dialog. This can be done with both standalone documents...
  1. ...and Version Documents.
  1. Once all of the appropriate documents are added, click Save.

NOTE: The order of the documents in this view is the order in which they will be exported to the PDF. You can change the order of the documents in this dialog. If you do so, click Repaginate to ensure that the page numbering is correct.

Completed Book

Selecting the Book will display all of the documents it references, along with their workflow statuses.

NOTE: The order of the documents in this view is the order in which they will be exported to the PDF. If you wish to change the order of these documents, open the Book Details dialog and re-arrange the documents under the Projects tab.

Export Book as PDF

You can export a PDF by clicking the Export Document option in the Book's context menu.
