Knowledge Base / one2edit™ v3 User Interface Description / Universal Menus

Menu: one2edit

Created on 18th November 2016 at 16:12 by Jamie O'Connell

This section describes the 'one2edit' menu.

Important:

Please note that this section only describes the menu options at a high-level. For more in-depth explanations, please refer to the appropriate parts of the manual.

'one2edit > About'

'one2edit > About'

The 'About' window gives you information about the installed software version as well as the developer. You can also see a number of programs that one2edit uses, including links to these programs' websites.

'one2edit > User Preferences'

'one2edit > User Preferences'

Clicking on 'one2edit > User Preferences', opens the 'Local User Details' window. User settings (Name, Email, Password) can be edited here.

If you change the 'Email' setting here, that is the same as changing your login name.

NOTE:

Please be advised that the username (email address) is case-sensitive.

NOTE:

In various windows you will find the opportunity to either 'Apply' or 'Save' your changes. Clicking 'Apply' will save your changes but the window will remain open for further use, and you will need to explicitly close it. However, if you click 'Save', your changes will be saved and the window will close.

'one2edit > Switch Client Workspace'

'one2edit > Switch Client Workspace'

To get a list of all the workspaces to which you have access, click on 'Switch Client Workspace'. This command only works when you are not in the one2edit document editor.

NOTE:

If you are a one2edit Express user, your 'Select Client Workspace' window will probably look like the above, i.e., with only one client workspace present.

If you are a one2edit Enterprise user, there may well be several clients available from which you can choose.

'one2edit > Logout'

'one2edit > Logout'

If you click 'Logout', you will be logged out off the one2edit system immediately. There will be no further warning and you will be returned to the one2edit login page.
