How to create Text Rule Sets

Created on 09th December 2016 at 13:26 by Jamie O'Connell

You must create a rule set in which to create your Text Rules.

Rule sets are added to projects in their entirety, so the rules within a set must all be added together.

Select a Text Rules folder

Fill in the details for your new rule set and click 'Save'.

'Application Default'

The options from this drop-down menu are 'Enforce' and 'Suggest'.

  • Enforce: Rules will be enforced without any user interaction required.
  • Suggest: If the match conditions for a rule are met, the text shall be underlined in blue. The user may then choose to apply the rule, if desired.

This will dictate the default behavior for the rules in this set.

This default behavior can be overridden when adding the rule set to a Content Group or project.
