Filtering Content to Populate a Content Group

It is possible to filter the document structure so that only relevant content is displayed.

This content can then be easily dragged to a content group in bulk.

In order to filter content, locate the 'Filter' section at the bottom of the 'Structure' panel.

Click 'Add'

Click the 'Add' button in order to filter some content.

Multiple filters can be used at any time.

There are many options for filtering.

In this example, we want to filter in only text items, so we will create an 'Item Type' filter.

You should now set up the filter as desired.

In this example, we will choose only 'Texts'. This will fitler out any Images and Delimiters from the structure view.

Click 'Apply'

Click the 'Apply' button to apply the filter to the current structure view.

A short summary of what is now contained within the structure is given.

In this case, there are no images, but 41 text items now listed above.

Select and Move

Select the items and move them to the appropriate content group.

In this case, we are moving all items because we wish for all text to be included for translation.

Click 'OK'

A warning box will pop up to tell you that it is only the frame content being added to the content group, not the frame itself.

The 'Frame Rules' option in the File menu should be used if users are going to edit both frames and content.
