Tab: Jobs

Created on 18th November 2016 at 16:13 by Jamie O'Connell

This section gives an overview of the 'Jobs' tab.

Important:

Please note that this section only describes the menu options at a high-level. For more in-depth explanations, please refer to the appropriate parts of the manual.

Tab: 'Jobs'

The 'Jobs' view displays all active jobs currently assigned to you.

(1) 'Job ID':

The job ID consists of the client ID number (in this case: 459) as well as the job number.

(2) 'Preview':

You can see a preview image of your document in this column.

(3) 'Document':

This column gives you further details about the document on which you'll be working (e.g. the Name and Version) as well as that document's ID.

(4) 'Info':

The 'Info' column gives you more information regarding your job, such as the owner or the last person to use the document, as well as the last time the document was edited. This can be especially useful if there are multiple people assigned to this workflow step.

(5) 'Progress':

This bar shows how far you have progressed in this job. As task items are completed, the bar will turn green.

(6) 'Action':

To edit or delegate your job, or to generate and download a low-res PDF, you can use these buttons. Alternatively, you can use the 'Job' menu, if you have a job selected.

Tab: 'Jobs' - Translation

If the job is a translation job, then the 'Task' in the 'Info' column will be marked as 'Translation'. In this case, the 'Action' column to the right of the window will have an option to export the translation job.

This is the only change from the description above.
