one2edit v3.9 is now available as an update for our Enterprise users. The one2edit SaaS system was updated to v3.9 on Friday 9th December 2016. 

Here are some of the new features from this update:

Text Rules
Are your designers spending time applying micro-typography to your translated documents? The new 'Text Rules' feature in one2edit can reduce your post-translation DTP requirements by automatically styling and/or changing text to match your brand guidelines. Matches can also be defined using regular expressions.

Some examples of what can be achieved using the new one2edit 'Text Rules' feature: 

• Automatically maintaining brand integrity (e.g. indesign > InDesign®)
• Automatically applying micro-typography (e.g. applying styling, inserting non-breaking spaces)
• Automatically expanding text (e.g. indesign > Adobe® InDesign®)
• Custom shortcuts for common tasks (e.g. expand ';letter' into a fully-styled form letter)
• Automations are stackable (e.g. indesign > InDesign® > Adobe® InDesign®: Your DTP tool)

Keyboard Shortcuts in the Editor
Do you find that using a mouse affects your efficiency when editing text in one2edit? Keyboard shortcuts are now available in the one2edit edtior for specific commands.

You can use keyboard shortcuts to:

• Jump between segments
• Mark the current segment as 'done'
• Insert the top match from the translation panel
• Render your changes

Spellcheck
one2edit™ now has an in-line spell checker for the editor window. Alongside this, there is a 'Spelling' panel that lists all spelling mistakes in a document.

The dictionaries used for the spellchecker may be either the default InDesign dictionaries or any custom Hunspell dictionaries that you wish to import. The dictionary for the target-language is automatically used when working on translation jobs.

Increased Translation-Memory Performance
There have been some 'under the hood' improvements made to the translation memory. These performance improvements help not only with the 'Translation' panel in the one2edit Editor, but also with the speed of the pre-translation workflow action. 

Cumulus DAM Adaptor
For one2edit Enterprise customers, we have developed a new DAM connector – this time for the Cumulus DAM. As with other DAM connectors, both INDD and related assets can be used directly from the Cumulus DAM.

• Celum
• DAM Group Mediacockpit
• Woodwing Elvis
