Setting User-Group Permissions

Created on 18th January 2013 at 17:48 by Jamie O'Connell

Each user group can be given customized permissions.

This means that access to all options and areas of the one2edit system can be assigned to groups based on their specific functional needs.

The group permissions available are quite granular, and are sorted into groups of 'administrator' and 'regular user' permissions.

Open 'Permissions' dialogue for a user group

  1. Double-click the user group name (or select the group and click 'Edit').
  2. Click the 'Permissions' tab on the user group window.

Set User-Group Permissions

  1. Check the boxes for the 'Administrator User Permissions' or simply check the upper box to 'select all permissions'.
  2. Check the boxes for the 'Regular User Permissions' or simply check the upper box to 'select all permissions'.
  3. Click 'Save'
