Edit a Frame – Master Document Editor

Created on 05th March 2015 at 17:29 by Jamie O'Connell

The geometry of frames can be manipulated in one2edit™ v3.8.x and later.

NOTE:
A text frame is shown as being edited in this lesson, but the same principles apply to an image frame.

Click 'Edit Frame'

To access the 'Edit Frame' option, move your mouse cursor over the small triangle in either the structure panel, or the top-right of the frame itself.

Click 'Edit Frame' to start editing the frame's geometry.

Edit Frame

Use the frame handles at the edges to manipulate the frame geometry with your mouse.

'Frame Editor' panel

There are more options available via the 'Frame Editor' panel, which can be found in the upper right corner of your window.

'Maintain Aspect Ratio' & 'Lock Scaling Factor'

  1. The aspect ratio for the frame (and content) can be locked using this button.
  2. The scaling factor of the text and frame can be locked using this button (i.e. as the frame grows, the content within scales).

Click 'Apply'

Once all changes have been made to the frame, click 'Apply'.
