Knowledge Base / Administrators – Uploading Documents to one2edit™ v4 / Create and upload an InDesign® Package

Packaging your fonts for use with one2edit™

Created on 17th April 2024 at 13:19 by Jamie O'Connell

When you create an InDesign Package, the fonts used in your project are all placed into a folder named Document fonts.

NOTE: Some types of fonts will not be placed into the Document fonts folder. For example, CJK fonts and fonts sourced via the Adobe Fonts feature. Please see this notice from Adobe about why the font licences are not compatible with Adobe® InDesign® Server.

Compress a Font Package

A Font Package is a ZIP file containing font files. Therefore, to create a Font Package for your project, simply compress the font files (or the font folder containing the font files) into a ZIP archive.

Rename the Font Package

Upload the Font Package to your one2edit™ Client Workspace via Settings > Font Packages.

NOTE: Be sure to give the Font Package a meaningful name so that you know what fonts are contained within it. If there are multiple different font families, consider making multiple Font Packages (i.e. one for each font family).
