Uploading PDF Export Presets

Created on 13th February 2024 at 17:21 by Jamie O'Connell

PDF Presets are required in order to generate and export a PDF from an InDesign file.

A PDF Preset is a .joboptions file, which has been configured and exported from Adobe® InDesign®. This is then uploaded to your one2edit™ Client Workspace, to allow the exporting of PDFs.

NOTE: Multiple PDF Presets can be uploaded to cater to various requirements when generating PDFs.

NOTE: No PDF Presets are included with your Client Workspace, because there is no one-size-fits-all PDF. Every client has their own requirements, and so much upload their own presets.

Upload a PDF Preset

Click the + (plus) action button in the bottom left of the PDF Export Presets dialog (accessed via Settings > PDF Presets).

A file-explorer window will open, allowing you to choose the appropriate .jopoptions file from your local hard drive.

The uploaded preset will now be visible, and will be available as an option when exporting PDFs from your one2edit™ Client Workspace.

NOTE: Please ensure that the uploaded filenames are meaningful, as it is not possible to query or edit the uploaded PDF Preset files.
