Uploading Font Packages

Created on 13th February 2024 at 16:39 by Jamie O'Connell

Any fonts used in your documents must be uploaded to the one2edit™ Client Workspace. If any fonts are missing, then InDesign Server will use a default font instead when rendering changes or PDFs.

Uploading fonts centrally, via the Font Packages dialog, allows them to be used by any document in the Client Workspace.

NOTE: A Font Package is a ZIP archive containing font files.

NOTE: It is possible to upload fonts for an individual document in the Document fonts folder of an InDesign package. This is covered in a separate lesson.

Add a Font Package

In the Font Packages dialog (accessed via Settings > Font Packages), click the + (plus) action button and select the font package (i.e. zip file containing fonts) from your hard-drive.

The font package is now visible in the list.

All one2edit™ projects (i.e. InDesign documents) in this Client Workspace can now access the fonts from this font package.
