Master Document Editor - Image-Frame Menu

The Image-Frame menu enables the editing and deleting of frames, as well as organising the frame within the document. It also gives access to tools for setting up Frame Rules.

NOTE: This section gives a high-level description. For more in-depth explanations, please refer to the appropriate parts of the Knowledge Base.

Image-Frame Menu

This menu can be opened via the Structure Panel (as shown in the screenshot), or from the drop-down arrow on the Image Frame itself.

  • Edit Image: Open the Image Editor for the image in this frame.
  • Delete Image: Delete the image from the image frame (the frame itself will not be deleted).
  • Content Group: Pops out a list of Content Groups. The image in the frame will be assigned to the chosen Content Group.
  • Edit Frame: Opens the frame editor for this frame.
  • Delete Frame: Deletes this frame from the document.
  • Layer: Pops out a list of the Layers in the document. The current layer is marked. The frame will be moved to the chosen Layer.
  • Arrange: Move the frame forwards or backwards in the spread hierarchy (z-axis).
  • Frame Rules > Document Frame Rules: Opens the Frame Rules - Document dialog, where you can set the rules for all frames in the document.
  • Frame Rules > Individual Frame Rules: Opens the Frame Rules - Individual dialog, where you can set the rules for this frame alone.
  • Default Text Rules: Opens the Text Rules dialog, where you can assign Text Rules for the document.
