6. Paragraph Spacing

The spaces between paragraphs (and between bullets in a list) should not be forced using hard returns. Hard returns used in this way create blank paragraphs. Such paragraphs add useless clutter to the document structure. Instead, you should create a paragraph style containing the desired space before and after, or create the document layout using a table.

NOTE:
Using hard returns to create spaces between paragraphs mean that a one2edit™ user may alter the document layout by deleting the space between two paragraphs, or inserting text where there should be none.
